HATHA YOGA 

Hatha

  • Overview :

Hatha Yoga is at the origin of all other forms of dynamic Yoga, inspired by her postures and sequences. The session begins with a short meditation followed by Sun Salutations (Suraya Namaskara). Then comes the performance of fixed postures maintained for 5 to 12 breaths.The class ends with a guided relaxation and breathing exercices (Pranayama).

  • Features :

Hatha Yoga is an all-round discipline qui couvre tous les aspects du Yoga du mouvement. L’ensemble des chaînes musculaires est graduellement mobilisé suivant la logique mécanique de l’anatomie. L’intensité de l’exercice réside dans le maintien de  chaque posture, la discipline ne comportant pas d’enchaînement chorégraphié (cf. Vinyasa). Au-delà du Hatha Yoga enhances strength andstamina.as well as awarenesstoone's body and environnement. It is a way to find overall balance.

VINYASA FLOW (Level I)

Vinyasa I

  • Overview :

Vinyasa Flow (Level I) is derived from Hatha Yoga and consists of a flow of postures choregraphed following the rhythm of the breath.The session begins with warm-up postures and isolations to continue with the Sun Salutations (Suraya Namaskara) and standing sequences. It ends with stretching postures and a guided relaxation.

  • Features :

Vinyasa Flow (Level I) is a dynamic practice gradually involving all muscular chains. The rhythm of the flow sustains moderated cardio workout.Coordination is also enhanced thanks to the choreography of the flow.The combination of appropriate breath while performing the postures increases body awareness and promotes stillness and peace of mind.

VINYASA FLOW (Level II) 

Vinyasa II

  • Overview :

Vinyasa Flow (Level II) is derived from Hatha Yoga and consists of a flow of postures choregraphed following the rhythm of the breath.The session begins with warm-up postures and isolations to continue with the Sun Salutations (Suraya Namaskara), standing sequences, work on balance and inversions.It ends with stretching and a guided relaxation.

  • Features :

Vinyasa Flow (Level II) is a dynamic practice gradually involving all muscular chains. The rapid pace of the flow sustains a high intensity cardio workout enhancingstamina.Coordination is also enhanced thanks to the specific flow involving balancing poses.The combination of appropriate breath while performing the postures increases body awareness and promotes stillness and peace of mind. This style of Yoga is especially adapted to athletes.

YIN

Yin

  • Overview :

Yin Yoga is often referred to as "passive" Yoga where the Yogi surrenders in a posture whose amplitude and intensity are generated by earthly gravity. The class begins with a guided relaxationfollowed bycalming breathing exercises (Pranayama).It goes on with a series of deep stretching postures held for several minutes without generating any muscle tension or elevated heart rate.

  • Features :

Focusing on the relaxation of fascias and muscular and emotional tensions in general,Yin Yoga is an intensely relaxing and rejuvenating discipline.Maintaining stretching postures for several minutes effectively develops flexibility and allows the Yogi to reach a contemplative state with powerful calming power.It is saidto have strong regenerative virtues.

YOGA & MEDIATION 

Yoga et méditation

  • Overview :

The Yoga & Meditation class is an introduction to dynamic Yoga and to mindfulness meditation.The exercises and postures practiced here are accessible to all and aim to support the Yogi who wants to set up a solid foundation for her/his practice. The session is inspired by several branches of dynamic Yoga which allows the Yogi to be introduced to various styles.

  • Features :

In this class we practice foundational postures of dynamic Yoga. These postures allow the gentle development of balance, flexibility and stamina. The combination of mindfulness exercises to the postural work improves self-awareness and stress management.

KIDS’YOGA (from 6 to 10 years old)

Yoga is a way of global awakening and expression for the child. The postures and exercises are adapted to the child's age and approached in a playful waysuch as game.The introduction to the meditation also allows the child to have a first self-awareness experience and to develop skills in order to manage anxieties,angers, fears and frustrations.

YOG’ADO (de  11 à 15 ans)

Teenagers are regularly confronted with the stress and anxiety generated by both lifestyle and the existential questions that gradually arise at their age. The postures and mindfulness exercices, adapted to their specific ages, help young Yogis rééquilibrer leurs émotions, à respecter leur corps et  leur personnalité. Yoga finally teaches them to tap into their personal resources to overcome the obstacles of everyday life.

YOGA BARRES

Ma deuxième passion est la danse, sous toutes ses formes, que j’enseigne également (Ballroom, Salsa, Jazz et éveil au Ballet pour les plus petits). Je suis convaincue que le Yoga et la danse partagent de nombreuses similitudes, notamment, la compréhension profonde et la maîtrise du corps. Cette connaissance du corps permet au danseur d’effectuer ses mouvements avec légèreté et grâce. Appliquée au Yoga, cette technique permet d’effectuer des enchaînements fluides, au cours desquels le souffle, le corps et l’esprit dansent ensemble la même chorégraphie, en harmonie. 

  • Overview :

Concept inédit au Luxembourg, mon cours de Yoga Barres n’a rien d’un cours de fitness. Il s’agit de pratiquer des séquences de mouvements et postures inspirées des du Hatha Yoga et de la Danse. Les barres de Ballet classique sont utilisées pendant la moitié du cours afin de soutenir des étirements et un travail musculaire approfondis. Lors de chaque cours, les barres sont également utilisées pour travailler les alignements d’une posture particulière de Yoga.

  • Features

Accessible à tous les niveaux, le Yoga Barres permet de travailler le gainage et la souplesse. La croisée des deux mondes du Yoga et de la Danse attribue à ce cours un aspect ludique et interactif. Les participants ont l’opportunité de poser toutes leurs questions concernant les alignements justes et de les pratiquer grâce au soutien des barres. Lors de ce cours, je mets également l’accent sur les techniques de transition qui rendent les enchaînements plus fluides et gracieux.
